Mercedes EQC 4x4² concept
Mercedes has released details of an all-new concept hybrid model that combines the EQC electric model with a true off-road vehicle. A small team of dedicated developers has created this drivable technology platform on the basis of an EQC 400 4matic and named the project the EQC 4x4². With a prominent appearance, the sure-footed, rough terrain car with future-oriented technology showcases the electrification at Mercedes-Benz. It’s an electric car of extremes: it’s around 20cm higher than the EQC, with 15cm increased ground clearance and the wheelarch flares measure about 10cm wide and the despite 20-inch wheels, the turning circle is small thanks to the modern axle kinematics with a four-link front axle.
