Lister reveals 195mph Stealth SUV
Lister has taken the wraps off its F-PACE SVR-based Stealth. A thorough update to the 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine has resulted in 666bhp and 650lb ft of torque, a 22 percent increase over the standard car.
The process began with a custom-built intercooler and a high-performance air filtration system for optimising combustion temperatures and airflow into the unit. There are also upgraded dual supercharger pulleys.
As a result, the Stealth has a top speed of 195mph and reaches 60mph in a mere 3.6 seconds, making it not only the fastest- accelerating SUV Britain has ever produced, but also the most powerful.
The Lister Stealth has a number of handmade bodywork enhancements that contribute to the car’s aerodynamic performance and engine cooling, including
a redesigned carbon fibre front bumper that features two large air intakes, while the front splitter increases aerodynamic efficiency. A large, carbon fibre rear diffuser sits in the middle of a new rear bumper to create additional downforce. Completing the distinctive exterior look are matching
side skirts and wider wheelarches to give the Stealth its purposeful stance, all of which is complemented by Lister-designed 23in forged wheels.
Lister has also fitted a custom-designed, stainless-steel exhaust system with carbon fibre tips to deliver gains in overall power output, giving the Stealth an unmistakable and thunderous soundtrack.
Inside, the Nappa leather interior can be tailored to every customer’s specification. Up to 36 individual colour choices are available with a further 90 different stitching options covering all aspects of the cabin – from the sport seats, dashboard and steering wheel to the seatbelts and roof lining.
Just 100 examples are earmarked for production worldwide with prices starting from £109,950.
